The introduction of University Technical Colleges are a welcome and important addition to the realms of Higher Education. Central Bedfordshire UTC is a brand new centre that promotes engineering excellence and also has close links to industry professionals and recognised engineering institutions; allowing students to learn specialist skills & qualifications that will not just help them in the short term, but also mean they can look forward to an employable and prosperous future in the long term.
CBUTC approached TFA to create a vivid and bold applications driver campaign that would encourage school leavers to learn more about what they do and also draw attention to their open day in August 2012. They needed an agency with a proven track record of creating successful promotional campaigns in very short timescales; something that TFA is extremely capable and experienced in delivering. TFA created a number of visually striking promotional materials; including 48-sheet billboard designs, promotional leaflet artwork and a brand new bespoke Microsite all in the space of a week - a truly fantastic achievement.
TFA also created and managed a targeted Facebook Campaign which resulted in nearly 3,500 hits to the CBUTC's microsite and main website over the course of a 3-week period. With such increased interest in the CBUTC and visits to their microsite and main website, the number of enquiries to the centre increased dramatically and has resulted in the campaign being a resounding success.
With having completed a number of successful marketing campaigns for various higher education centres in the UK, TFA have proven to be ideally suited to this type of project. By creating an eye-catching theme based on the UTC's primary purpose, this could be rolled-out across a number of different promotional materials, ensuring both continuity and a very quick turnaround time from initial conception to completion. This is a project which TFA immensely enjoyed and are proud to have been part of.
